Dibrugarh city: Our truck delivers same day for orders above 50 kg. No charge. Below 50 kg we use auto rickshaw - ₹200 fixed.
Other districts: TCI Express courier takes 1-2 days. ₹60 per kg for orders below 100 kg. Free for orders above 100 kg.
Pan India
Regular delivery: DTDC surface takes 5-8 days. ₹95 per kg. Good for routine monthly orders when timing is flexible.
Express delivery: DTDC air takes 2-4 days. ₹180 per kg. For urgent restocking when you run low unexpectedly.
Bronze tier and above customers get 50% off all shipping charges. Silver and Gold tiers get free delivery within Assam, Meghalaya, and West Bengal.
15 Days Return Window, Lab Reports Above 200 kg
Quality Guarantee
Every batch tested before dispatch. We check moisture content, aroma, and brewing color. Lab report included with orders above 200 kg. If quality does not match previous batches, return within 15 days for full exchange.
Damage in Transit
We pack in triple-layer bags with outer carton boxes. If package arrives torn or wet, take photos before opening. WhatsApp photos within 24 hours. We resend damaged quantity at no cost within 48 hours.
Refund Terms
No cash refunds on wholesale orders. If you are unhappy with quality, we exchange with next batch or give credit note valid for 6 months. Used by 3 customers in last 2 years - both times we exchanged successfully.
No Pesticides Since 2018, 25 kW Solar, Rainwater Harvesting
No Chemical Pesticides Since 2018
Switched to neem oil and organic pest control. Costs 20% more but tea tastes cleaner. Worker health improved - fewer sick days. Soil quality better than before. Planning organic certification by 2027.
Rainwater Harvesting System
Built 4 ponds in 2020 to collect monsoon water. Store 80,000 liters total. Use for processing unit and worker housing. Reduced tubewell usage by 60%. Fish farming in 2 ponds gives extra income for workers.
Waste Tea as Fertilizer
Reject leaves and stems go to composting pit. After 3 months it becomes fertilizer. We spread 2 tons compost per hectare yearly. Saves ₹50,000 on chemical fertilizer. Earthworm population increased by a lot.
Solar Panels for Processing Unit
Installed 25 kW solar system in 2022. Generates 100 units daily. Processing machines run on solar 6-7 hours daily. Electricity bill dropped from ₹25,000 to ₹8,000 monthly. Payback in 4-5 years expected.
Fair Wages Above Minimum
Government minimum for tea workers is ₹250 per day in Assam. We pay ₹320 base plus ₹50 lunch allowance. Bonus equal to 1 month salary in December. Free medical for workers and their families at Dibrugarh hospital.
Children Education Fund
Started in 2019. We pay ₹5,000 yearly for each worker child studying in class 8-12. 23 children receiving support currently. 4 workers' children finished class 12 and joined colleges in Guwahati and Jorhat.
83 Workers, 18 Families Live On-Site, ₹320 Daily Wage
83 people work on our garden during peak season. 58 are pickers who collect leaves from 5:30 AM to 2 PM daily. 12 work in processing unit operating CTC and Orthodox machines. 8 handle packing and storage. 5 are supervisors managing quality and timings.
Most workers been with us 8-15 years. Oldest employee is Ramesh Gowala who joined in 1995 at age 18. Now he supervises 20 pickers. His son Bijoy works in our processing unit as machine operator. His daughter studies nursing in Guwahati with our education fund support.
Worker Housing
18 families live in quarters on garden property. Built in 2010 with brick walls and tin roofs. Each house has 2 rooms, kitchen, and toilet. Free electricity and water supply. 5 km from main road with daily bus service to Dibrugarh town.
Working Hours
Pickers start at 5:30 AM when dew is on leaves. Work until 2 PM with one tea break at 9 AM. Processing unit runs 6 AM to 6 PM. Everyone gets Sunday off plus 12 festival holidays yearly. Extra payment for Saturday work if needed during peak season.
Health Care
Partnership with Assam Medical College in Dibrugarh. Workers and families get checkup twice yearly free. Minor issues treated at garden by visiting doctor monthly. Serious cases referred to hospital with transport arranged. Medicine costs reimbursed up to ₹10,000 per year per family.
